Channel 70

Channel 70 is used for DSC digital signalling. It is not a voice channel.

A DSC alert or call is normally followed by voice communication on the appropriate channel, often Channel 16 for distress.

  • DSC only
  • No voice on Channel 70
  • Follow DSC with voice where required
