Module 10 - Scenario Simulator

Applied SRC scenario

Scenario: The learner builds a routine, urgency, safety, or distress call, listens to the expected reply, records a local attempt, and checks the missing words.

A good answer should include the call priority, the channel or DSC action, the first spoken phrase, the details to include, and the expected follow-up.

Key points

  • Use Phrase selection to identify what kind of traffic this is.
  • Use Read the situation before choosing the next transmission.
  • Avoid the main trap: Practising the phrase once but not checking timing, priority, position, and self-review.
  • State what you would do if no station replies the first time.
