Module 8 - Digital Selective Calling
What DSC Does
Digital Selective Calling sends digital alerts and calls on Channel 70. It can alert stations, identify the calling set, and request a voice channel.
DSC does not replace clear voice procedure. It helps establish the call and can transmit key distress details.
